Bring on Watford

Just a quickie today.

In work we were huddled around the radio at 13.30 local time. The hush broken only by the incessant chattering of women and those people silly enough to be working at such a tense moment.

The draw for the quarter finals of the FA Cup 2007. Argyle were there for only the second time in our history. Last time around we had beaten Derby County on the road to the semi finals. On that occasion we were felled by a very lucky Watford team.

Who would we get this year, we had again seen off Derby County. We were ball number four. Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all stood waiting. They were all drawn out, still no number four.

The draw was moving to its climax. All the big teams had gone. Only two teams were left in. We knew we were to play Watford - but where?

Prayers were said the length and breadth of the room. The ball for the home team was drawn, NUMBER FOUR. We were home. If we wanted to have a chance of proceeding to the semi finals we had the best chance that providence could give us. This tie is winnable. We know Watford are Premiership, but they were the weakest ones on offer.

We will take this draw!

Now the next problem - TICKETS!!!!!!!
