Happy Christmas from Disney and Google

Disney here.

I thought it might be nice for me and my brother to say hello to all. I am afraid that I was a bit naughty today. Daddy took us out for a walk in the white stuff. It was cold on my feet. We went to an environmental park in Penlee. Well that's what daddy said to mummy. It was great there. Lots of smells and lots of bushes to go in. Daddy wanted to leave when I was still busy, I tried to tell him but he didn't understand. He has a habit of putting the lead on me just when I am doing something important. I beat him this time though I saw the lead and he was trying to give me a sweetie. Hell, I have had a load today so one more wasn't any big deal. So I just carried on until I knew I wasn't going to get that flaming squirrel. When I was finished I went back so I don't see the problem. Daddy gets so worked up sometimes. Over to my brother.

Hello all, Google here.

Not sure what today was all about but was it fun! Mummy Cheryl and Mummy Alice came around. Mummy Cheryl's friend Nicki came for a quick chat but me and Google had to take Daddy out for his walk. We have to do it everyday or else he would be even fatter than he is. Disney and Me take turns giving him exercise. Yesterday I ran up a big hill. Daddy got one of his friends to look after Disney while he ran after me. I got him to the top then around the fort until I let one of his other friends catch me. I could have kept going but you know how they worry. Daddy had a good run he was really panting hard. I don't like doing it but it's best for him even though he probably doesn't like it. It was Disney's turn today, Daddy was going home before he had a proper run so Disney had to exercise him.

Disney. We weren't going to tell Daddy about his exercise were we.

Google. It's OK he never reads this blog and has no idea we are writing it. He thinks we are asleep or out the back.

Disney. What if someone else tells him?

Google. They won't. I know Tom and Holly would tell their mum and anyway she knows he needs to lose some fat so Daddy isn't going to find out is he.

Disney. What about uncle Bob or uncle Tony or uncle Mike or auntie Clare or auntie Anne eh?

Google. OK look. Daddy is human he would never believe we can switch on his PC let alone write anything!! All our aunties and uncles would never believe we write on here either. The kids would know but the adults wouldn't believe them so we are home safe eh.

Disney. Fair and true argument there Bro.

Google. Let's just wish everyone a Happy New Year shall we?

Disney. Yeah right.

Disney and Google. Happy 2011 to you all!!!

Google. We haven't mentioned the photo's.

Disney. Ooops. This was Google's first Christmas with us. He really didn't know what Christmas was so I had to explain. We had some brilliant presents, new toys.

Google. Don't forget Dinner.

Disney. Sorry everyone he only thinks of his tummy.

Google. You have never been starved!

Disney. Fair comment. We had turkey, bacon, roast potatoes, yorkshire pud all covered in gravy.

Google. It was brilliant. Hope you all have a Happy New Year. I know I will!!

Disney. We have to tell them about Suki.

Google. It's really sad but best tell.

Disney. Suki, the cat that lived with Mummy Alice and Mummy Cheryl was in an accident with a car on Wednesday. Mummy Cheryl and Mummy Alice took her to the vets. She had an X Ray but her femur was smashed in her back leg so they let her have a long sleep. We were all really sad. Still she is with Holly and the rest of them now. I suppose she will come and visit us sometime.

Google. You what!!!!!

Disney. Let me explain. But say goodnight to everyone now.

Google. Goodnight all. You expect me to sleep now after that. Explain.........

My Home - love Google

I didn't know it then but this is me meeting my new brother for the first time. I was living with lots of other dogs at a place called "Many Tears". I learnt that not all humans were nasty during my two weeks there. I was given food here which was really nice as at the place I was at didn't feed me and I was kept in a cage. I don't know why they did it, I tried to be nice to them but they were not nice to me.

After meeting my brother, he is called Disney, we went into a car with my new mummy and daddy. I was really frightened and even though Disney was nice to me I was sick. I tried to eat it up as I know that humans get nasty if you are sick. I was surprised when my daddy didn't shout or hit me. He just took me and Disney and we sat on some grass with mummy. There was a lot of strange sounds and I was really confused and frightened.

On the way to my home we stopped the car and I had some fries to eat. I wasn't sure what to do at first but Disney showed me. They were really nice I can tell you.

The picture above is one of my other mummy's. I now have three! I have got Mummy, Mummy Cheryl and Mummy Alice. The picture is of me, Disney and Mummy Alice. I didn't know it but we came all the way from Llanelli in Wales (that's in a different country from where I live now!). Mummy and Daddy (I only have one Daddy) brought Disney all the way up to see me. Mummy Cheryl and Mummy Alice couldn't come up but they came from their house just to see me. They picked me up and cuddled me lots and lots. I wasn't sure what to do at the time as no one had done that to me before. They kept saying I was skin and bone, but they should have seen me before those nice people at Many Tears saved me!

I have Aunties and Uncles as well now. Some I haven't met but the one's I have met give me lot's of cuddles. Auntie Silv and Auntie Thelma really love me lots and lots. Uncle Shaun caught a plane to see me!

My brother Disney has helped me do this while Daddy is watching the window thing downstairs. He is looking after me now as you can see in the first picture above. He has taught me lots of new words because I didn't get to learn too much in that horrible place I lived. Disney tells me it was a Welsh Puppy Farm. I have tried to tell Disney what it was like but I don't think he believes me. When I first got home I found it ever so hard because there was all this space. I ran around in 3 foot circles ever so fast. Daddy says it must have been because that's the space I had to live in.
I have used lots of my new words while writing this. I really like the cuddles and walks and I know that the car takes me to the park. We walk to the park just by our house. We call it the Blockhouse. I have made lots of friends there. They have been showing me how to play. I like playing with them all. There are all sorts of shapes and sizes up there, some smaller than me and some bigger. I have met Frodo, Mollie and Millie, Toby, Buddie and Billie, Dexter and Cooper, Ruby, Reg, Lola, Charlie and Paddy and lots others. I am good at playing now. Yesterday Daddy put a different lead on me and I was able to run around with everyone, although we did get tangled some times but it was really fun.
I know I have a lot more to learn. there are things that still frighten me. Disney has his own door that he says I can use. But it really frightens me. I have tried to break it but haven't yet. Sometimes I like it because Daddy says sausages and Disney runs out, I follow and Daddy gives us some sausage roll. I am not as frightened of it as I was but I still won't go through by myself. I am doing some pee pee outside and it makes Mummy and Daddy happy because they tell me I am a good boy. When I pee in the house they don't say good boy but I don't know why yet. I suppose it will make sense soon. I have learnt lots of new things, Daddy says it takes time.
One thing I do like is that I can sleep better now. When I first got here I was very confused. I couldn't sleep because I didn't know if they were going to hurt me. Now I sleep when I want, even up by a window so I can see out when I wake up!!!!
I have to go now as Disney has just said something about final whistle has gone on the window thingy. I don't know what that means but I suppose that applies to a lot of things at the moment. Mummy and Daddy have taken lots of pictures so next time Daddy leaves this on and goes out I will get Disney to help me put them on for you.
Love. Google xxxx

Google is beginning to settle in. Love Disney.

Mummy and Auntie Linda with Google
He will sleep anywhere now!

Uncle Shaun with Mummy Alice. He came over from some Island to watch football with the old man. The old man was happy when he came home as the Mighty Greens won. He wasn't so happy when told what Google had done to the remote!!

Mummy Alice and Google

He has fallen off the settee three times now. All I have to do is bark and he goes flying!

One of my favourite toys. I am told I must let him play with it. If you have a spare send it to me and I can let him have his own!!

Me. I am so cute aren't I.

Google on the window seat sleeping.

Once he falls asleep that's it. Peace for us all!

Strange dog.

See what I mean!

I have shown him how to watch the window thingy. He isn't frightened of it any more. When we got him home last week he freaked out at it!

Hell. But I am so cute. He couldn't have all the photos could he. You would get bored.

He has fallen off here a couple of times as well. Suppose that is why he over on my brown step up thing.

Both of us. I am trying to get some shuteye.

Mummy with us both.

Hi everybody. The old boy is out and left his thingy on again so I can tell you about my new brother.

We went up to a place called Wales last week, I have heard of it, there was a programme on the window thing in our front room about wales singing. I got a bit confused as on the window thing they looked like big fish, but I didn't see any last week. The old boy said we were going to where they all sing so I was a bit disappointed when all I heard was a lot of dogs barking.

But let me get back to my new baby brother. He is a scrawny little thing but has all his own teeth and I don't see how he is a baby. I have seen babies up the park and this just doesn't figure.

Another thing that confused me is that I always thought that after mummies had pups their bellies went down. Not this time, she is the same as before we went to Wales! Also they have been talking on the window thing about saving money with NHS so I suppose that is why we had to go all that way in the car. We should have just gone down to my doctors, she could have had Google there. All very confusing really.

Anyway me and Google get on OK. When he got home last week he made me really giddy. He just kept running around in small circles. I told him off a couple of times but he ignored me.
I have got my own door to get out the back. He hates it. He really goes mad at it. I go out and then have to come back in to calm him down. That just makes him more frightened, so I go out again in case it is me that is causing a problem. The old boy or mummy usually come down then, he calms down after a cuddle (don't we all?). He has tried to destroy it like he did with the remote for the window thingy. Mum had to speak to some Virgin and ask for another. The old boy wasn't happy I can tell you.

I took him up the park yesterday to meet the gang. He got on all right. The old boy kept him on the extender so he couldn't run about with us. He had a go but just went around in bigger circles on the end of the extender. Some of the guys worked this out and kept running just out of his reach, we had a laugh but he started barking and yelling - no sense of humour.

Well, as you can see from the photos he now knows how to go to sleep. Thank goodness as he kept me awake last week with his running in those flaming circles!

Hope you like the photos.

Love

Disney (and Google but he can't work this thingy yet) xxxx

Meet Google

Apologies for the long absence. I didn't realise it had been so long.

I will do a proper post to update on our activities when (as usual) I get a bit of time.

Time is even more rare now as we have an additional mouth to feed.
Val and I went up to Llanelli yesterday to a sanctuary called "Many Tears". We collected Google. The photo's give an idea of who I am talking about.

He was born an March 2009 (Disney was Feb 09) and he has not had a good life thus far. He is a bag of bones and scared of everything - and I mean everything. He cannot deal with a sudden noise and runs away. When he is at the farthest point he runs in a circle, diameter about 3 feet. We reckon that must have been the size of the cage he has lived (existed?) in for the past 19 months. Puppy farm and kept just to breed. Bloody disgraceful.

I have heard of them but this is the first time I have seen the results of this evil practice.

Seeing he only got here last night things have improved. He has discovered the delights of fries (on the journey back) and Pizza (today as we ran out of time getting his new stuff and letting him settle in.

Disney is not sure. He has gone for Google a couple of times but not now since this afternoon. Gone for him is a bit OTT, growled and nudged would be more accurate. We had them playing out the back this evening with a couple of rubber balls. We were chuffed as we were not sure if Google knew how to play. Both balls are now in bits in the bin as a matter of interest!!

I am going to sign off as I am a bit tired after yesterdays drive and I need to shower and see to Dis and Goog before crashing out.

England in South Africa etc by Disney

Getting ready for the game. Auntie Alison tried her hat on me

I've got myself a great spot to watch the game from

I think my shirt lets me breath at least!!

We got quite excited at times

Had to move to get comfy. Boo. Booo.

Things are not looking good so I decided to watch with dad

This is sooo depressing

I was so looking forward to this and look what happened
Hi all. It's little old me again. Thought I would just update you on the goings on around my place.
The weather has been brilliant and I have been for some great walks. Found some really great smells up the park. One day I wound the old boy up something rotten.
I had been rummaging around in the bushes when I found a thing that looked just like one of those things that they blow up when the whole pack gets together to celebrate a birthday or something. I am not sure what it was but it tasted strange.
Anyway thought the old boy might be interested so I took it over to him and swung it around a bit. Boy did he do his nut. I had great fun when he tried to get it off me. I don't think he wanted to touch it, kept telling me to put it down. He even offered a few sweets in exchange, that's when I realised it must be something good.
He was barking at me something rotten. "put down that condom" or something like that.
Anyway I was out of there and back in the bushes. It tasted really strange and I am not sure what all the fuss was about. After I had eaten it I went back and the old boy seemed fairly happy.
The next day we went for our usual walk. I went to the loo as normal and the old boy picked it up for me, they have some dirty habits don't they. Fancy collecting poo, strange breed.
After going to the loo I felt a bit left so went again. He went ballistic, he didn't want to collect the poo but he still picked it up. He showed it to me, never done that before, it was the thing I ate in the bushes the day before. He was so keen to get it off me first time around you would have thought he would be overjoyed at the chance to add it to his collection. They are a little strange but you just have to love them don't you.

That's not the best bit of the weekend though. We were up the park again and, well you know how brilliant it is to have a good old roll around on the floor. You know how you have to smell of something different so you don't get picked on. Well, you will never ever guess what I found in the bushes!!!
I always thought that humans did their poo in that little room at home. Well they don't.
I found a whole pile in the bushes. Thought to myself, Dad will love the fact that I smell like a human. I had a brilliant roll. Went bounding out of the bushes to greet him. He just stood there looking at me. You know he wouldn't let me play with any of my mates. He deliberately avoided them.
I didn't get me usual cuddle back at the car and then - you are not going to believe this - and then when I got home Mummy, mummy Cheryl and Dad took me out the back. Yep - in the back court I got a bath and a bit of a hose down.
They took that brilliant smell away from me!!!!
I am still not sure what I did wrong but it must have been something to do with the England football team as I am sure that Dad used the same word to describe the stuff I was covered in to describe the England team. I didn't get it. Watched the game but I didn't see them roll on the floor and get covered in that wonderful smelly stuff.
Talking about the football. As you can see from above we all started happy, but the team just didn't play.
The guys up the park didn't bother to watch it. Buddy found out that they were going to play Lampard and Gerrard together again. These humans just do not learn do they?
I keep saying, pick a team. Don't pick your so called superstars and put them on a pitch in the hope that it will turn out fine.
Decide on your way of playing then pick the players to fit the team!!!!! Even if they play in the Championship!!!!
What do I know - I am just a little Westie.
Bye for now
Love Disney XXXXX

England Football Team??

18 June 2010

Just watched a disgraceful football match.

One of the worst games I have ever seen, and over the last two seasons at Home Park we have seen a few bad 'uns.

Just hope they can sort themselves out for Wednesday.

Can anyone tell me why various managers insist on playing Gerrard and Lampard together? It doesn't work. Make a decision and keep one of them on the subs bench!!

Rant over. Goodnight!

The old man is busy - watching football!

Hi all

Just thought I would hijack the old boys blog again. He is stuck with his rear end in the chair watching the footy on the strange window thing.

I thought I would show off my new shirt. Got it to support the lads out in South Africa.

I look pretty good in it eh? I have just come back from the park where I played football with a couple of Jack Russell's, I think I won but I am not sure. The humans with them kept kicking the ball away from us. I should have worn my new shirt - mum wanted me to - but old misery said it would be too hot!!

Look dingbat, not noticed the fur coat? A little shirt is not going to get to me is it???

Mummy Alice is in dance class so the old boy has to pick her up. He isn't amused as the Frogs are kicking off at the same time. I keep telling him to record it on his V+ box, I think he will this time.

Pizzas for tea as Mummy Cheryl is doing an extra couple of hours work and old misery guts said he isn't cooking as well as acting as a taxi. He reckons the world cup is important. Just as long as I get my food and walks he can think what he wants.

How do you like the photos? Even you Christian (my secret admirer).

Bye for now. I will try to get grumpy boots to write something soon. In the meantime

COME ON YOU ENGLAND

(And NZ with Rory in)

Love Disney xxxxxx
p.s. See the start I have made in the photos in the front room redecoration? Mum was really pleased but old grumps, well you can guess he wasn't happy. After all that work as well. No pleasing some eh?
